Privacy Policy

ToolKey is an Android input method. Because keyboards can technically access text entered through them, this policy explains how ToolKey handles typing-related data and connected services.

1. Who we are

ToolKey is developed by Suraj and published through NxTrendz. Contact: support@nxtrendz.world.

2. Typed text

ToolKey processes key presses on your device to insert text into the active application. ToolKey does not operate a server that receives or stores your conversations, passwords, messages or complete typed text.

3. Inline calculations

Supported mathematical expressions are evaluated locally on your device. Calculation results and undo state are handled within the app and are not sent to ToolKey servers.

4. Predictions and learned words

Basic predictive suggestions and learned words are stored locally in app preferences. Password fields are excluded from prediction and learning. You can clear app data through Android settings to remove locally stored learned words.

5. Clipboard

When clipboard features are used, recent or pinned clipboard text may be stored locally on your device for reuse. ToolKey does not upload clipboard contents to ToolKey servers. Android and other apps may independently control clipboard access.

6. Custom backgrounds

When you select a keyboard background using Android’s photo picker, a local copy may be stored in ToolKey’s private app storage. It is not uploaded by ToolKey.

7. Advertising

The ToolKey companion app may display Google AdMob advertising. Ads are not displayed inside the keyboard while you type. Google’s advertising SDK may process device identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP address, advertising interactions, diagnostics and related information according to Google’s policies and your consent choices.

8. Purchases

ToolKey Pro purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. ToolKey receives purchase status and product entitlement information needed to unlock Pro. We do not receive or store your card number or full payment credentials.

9. Permissions

• Input method: required to function as a keyboard.
• Internet: used by AdMob, billing and opening online support pages.
• Photo picker: used only when you choose a custom background.
• Vibration: used for optional key haptic feedback.

10. Data sharing

ToolKey does not sell typed text. Information may be processed by Google services used for advertising, Play distribution, billing, crash protection or security under their own terms.

11. Children

ToolKey is not designed specifically for children under 13. Users should meet the minimum age required for Google Play and their jurisdiction.

12. Security and retention

Local preference, clipboard and theme data remains until it is cleared, replaced or the app is uninstalled. No method of storage is completely risk-free; keep your device and operating system secure.

13. Your choices

You can disable learned words, clipboard history, sound, vibration or custom backgrounds in ToolKey settings. You can revoke ToolKey as an active keyboard through Android settings and uninstall the app at any time. Ad personalization controls are available through Google and your device settings.

14. Changes

We may update this policy as features, laws or service providers change. The current version and effective date will remain available at this URL.
